Man wanted on homicide charge arrested in Baldwin

BALDWIN, ME — A Massachusetts fugitive wanted on a homicide charge was arrested following a welfare check.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Bridgton Road at approximately 10:26 p.m. March 7, 2026, for a request for a welfare check on a male in a vehicle.

A patrol sergeant arrived at the scene and located a male in a vehicle who was initially believed to be unconscious.

It was quickly determined that the male was a violent fugitive who had a warrant for his arrest for the charge of homicide.

Jean Michael Warner Delgado, 20, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is being held at the Cumberland County Jail, where he will await extradition to Massachusetts.
