UTICA, NY — A man was stabbed in the chest during an argument at a plaza on Mohawk Street on March 8, 2026.
Utica Police were notified of the stabbing at approximately 8:15 p.m. when the victim was brought to Wynn Hospital.
The victim was in critical condition with a stab wound to the chest.
Emergency and operating room staff at Wynn Hospital saved the victim’s life, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Police said an argument preceded the stabbing.
The suspects fled the scene after the stabbing, and the victim was driven to the hospital.
The case has been assigned to the Major Crimes Unit.
