Man arrested on criminal mischief charge in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers responded to a domestic dispute on the east side of the city at around 10:18 a.m. March 7, 2026.

Police said Angel M. Torres, 32, of Jamestown, punched a television belonging to the victim during a verbal altercation.

The television broke and was no longer functional, according to police.

Torres fled the scene but was located a short distance from the residence, police said.

He was arrested without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Torres was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
