ALBANY, NY — Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a 14-year-old boy wounded.
Officers responded to the 200 block of Central Avenue near North Lake Avenue around 6:15 a.m. Sunday for reports of an individual shot.
Upon arrival, officers found the teen with gunshot wounds to both legs.
The victim was treated on scene by the Albany Fire Department and Emergency Medical Personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Investigators determined the shooting occurred in the area of Bradford Street and North Lake Avenue.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
