HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the area of Elizabeth Street and North Beacon Street at approximately 1:09 a.m. on a report of a single motor vehicle crash.
Officers located a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that had crashed into a retaining wall on the west side of the intersection.
The operator, a male in his twenties, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Hartford Police Crime Scene Division responded and assumed the investigation.
