HOOSICK FALLS, NY — Police are searching for a 55-year-old woman last seen early Friday morning who is believed to be endangered and in need of medical care.
Catherine M. Bedford was last seen around 2 a.m. Friday in the area of River Street, according to Hoosick Falls Police.
Bedford is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds with brown, straight, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a black hoodie with “Brick by Brick” on it, a brown winter coat with fur trim and black Adidas shoes.
Police said Bedford is believed to have a mental health history and does not have a phone or vehicle.
Anyone who sees Bedford is asked to call 911 immediately.

New York State Police, Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Forest Rangers, Rensselaer County Search and Rescue Teams and Rensselaer County Public Safety are assisting in the search.
