SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville police recovered a stolen handgun during the execution of a search warrant March 5, 2026.
Officers located a .380 caliber Bersa Firestorm handgun and two loaded magazines during the search in East Somerville, according to a department statement.
The firearm was possessed illegally and had been reported stolen in Texas, police said.
The recovery was part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
