HOLYOKE, MA — Holyoke police seized heroin and crack-cocaine after conducting a quality-of-life property check early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 3:10 a.m., Officers Samuel Rodriguez, Nathan Cote and Matthew Landry were conducting a quality-of-life property check in an alleyway at 456 Maple Street.
Officers located a subject, later identified as Carlos Torres-Pagan, who attempted to walk and then run away.
He was quickly detained.
During a search of Torres-Pagan, officers recovered approximately 37 vials of suspected crack-cocaine, 23 bags of suspected heroin and $180 in cash.
Officers placed Torres-Pagan under arrest.
Carlos Torres-Pagan, 24, of Holyoke is charged with possession with the intent to distribute a Class A drug, possession with the intent to distribute a Class B drug, possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug and trespassing.
