RINDGE, NH — A Massachusetts man was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 202 after police clocked him driving nearly twice the posted speed limit.
Anthony Thomas Salviati, 21, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, was stopped at 11:02 p.m. Wednesday near Sears Drive after police observed his 2020 Kia Stinger traveling 104 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Salviati was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle under New Hampshire RSA 265:79, II.
The vehicle was towed to Gauthier’s Auto Services in Jaffrey.
Salviati is scheduled to be arraigned April 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
If convicted, he faces a minimum fine of $750 plus court penalty assessment and a 90-day license suspension or revocation.
