ELMIRA, NY — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect caught on camera stealing packages from a porch on Grove Street.
The theft occurred in the 800 block of Grove Street, according to the Elmira Police Department.
Video footage shows the individual was in possession of several other packages before approaching the porch, suggesting additional thefts may have occurred in the area.
Police are asking residents in the neighborhood who were expecting packages that did not arrive to contact the department.
Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information that could assist in identifying the suspect is asked to call the Elmira Police Department at (607) 737-5626.
