PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop Tuesday morning.
George Brice, 69, of Providence, was taken into custody at 11 a.m. on Atwells Avenue.
Brice was wanted on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for restitution review on an original charge of obtaining property by false pretenses.
The charge originated from the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Troopers transported Brice to State Police Headquarters for processing.
He was then transported to Providence Superior Court.
