LOCKPORT, NY — Two men were arrested and charged with first-degree robbery following an early morning altercation at a residence on Eagle Drive.
Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Eagle Drive at 2:17 a.m. March 3 after a neighbor called 9-1-1 to report two males in a driveway having an altercation with residents.
The caller reported a female was chased inside the residence by a male and that the suspects fled on foot to a waiting vehicle.
Patrols located the fleeing vehicle and conducted a felony traffic stop, detaining all parties without incident.
The suspects were returned to the scene where they were positively identified.
Investigators from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau responded to the scene.
Martin Sheehan, 51, of Ransomville, and Peter Scarborough, 57, of Lockport, were both charged with first-degree robbery, a class B felony.
Sheehan was also charged with second-degree assault, a class D felony.
Both men were transported to the Niagara County Correctional Facility to await CAP Court.
Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
