LYNDONVILLE, VT — A woman was arrested after allegedly providing false identification to police officers responding to a welfare check Feb. 21.
Lyndonville Police Department patrol officers were dispatched to 110 Broad Street at approximately 5:48 a.m. for a report of two people non-responsive in a vehicle in the parking lot.
Upon arrival, a female provided false information about her identity to both officers, according to police.
Following further investigation, she was identified as Jessica Prue, 44, of no fixed address.
Prue was arrested without incident and later released on a citation into Caledonia Superior Court.
She is charged with false information to law enforcement and identity theft.
Prue is scheduled to be arraigned March 30, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
