LYNDONVILLE, VT — A Lyndon man was arrested on a felony warrant after police found him hiding in a closet at a residence on Lily Pond Road on Feb. 20.
Robert Evans, 39, was located by Officer Gerrish of the Lyndonville Police Department at 12:36 p.m.
Evans was the subject of a $5,000 felony arrest warrant on underlying charges of second degree aggravated domestic assault and violation of an abuse prevention order.
He was arrested without incident.
Evans was found in the closet of a home belonging to a person he was prohibited from being within 300 feet of or within.
He was cited for additional offenses of violation of an abuse prevention order, violation of conditions of release and unlawful trespass in violation of a court order.
Evans was brought before court and ordered lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
He was cited into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment date of Monday, Feb. 23, at 12:30 p.m.
