UPPER ALLEN, PA — A Mechanicsburg man was arrested on an assault charge stemming from an October domestic incident.
Abdirizak Ahmed, 22, of Mechanicsburg, was apprehended March 1, 2026, by Harrisburg City Police on an outstanding warrant.
Upper Allen Police responded to a reported fight outside a residence at 8:23 p.m. Oct. 16.
An investigation determined that Ahmed assaulted a family member, causing bodily injury.
Ahmed fled the scene before police arrived, and an arrest warrant was obtained.
Ahmed was charged with simple assault and harassment.
He was arraigned and a preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
