Driver charged after rollover crash in Upper Allen Township

UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Harrisburg man faces multiple charges after a rollover crash in a school zone.

Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of South York Street near Shepherdstown Elementary School at approximately 11:50 a.m. on Feb. 26, 2026, for a report of a rollover crash.

Upon arrival, police learned that a vehicle driven by Marquis L. Moore, 40, of Harrisburg, had run the stop sign at the intersection of South York Street and East Meadow Drive, causing another vehicle to strike it.

During the investigation, Moore was found to be under the influence.

Moore was transported to Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Due to his medical treatment, Moore was not arrested on scene.

Moore is charged with DUI, driving under DUI related suspension and a stop sign violation.
