MCKEES ROCKS, PA — A woman faces multiple charges after allegedly ramming police vehicles and fleeing officers on Jan. 25.

McKees Rocks police responded to a disturbance on Washington Street at approximately 6 p.m. following a 911 call reporting a female armed with a firearm.

Officers located Aniyah Moore inside a vehicle at the corner of the street.

Moore refused commands to exit the vehicle and place the car in park, according to police.

She sped away from officers and turned onto Washington Street, where a responding officer’s patrol unit blocked her path.

Officers boxed in her vehicle and ordered her out again.

Moore then reversed into a marked patrol unit multiple times and rammed a K9 vehicle head-on, nearly running over a K9 officer and striking his hand and arm before he jumped out of the way, police said.

Moore rammed a parked car on the roadway and drove away through an opening.

She left McKees Rocks via the McKees Rocks Bridge with officers in pursuit into the north side of Pittsburgh.

Moore crashed into a front yard on Brighton Road and fled on foot.

Officers gave chase toward the business district and apprehended her on Brighton Road with assistance from Pittsburgh police.

A search of her vehicle yielded a 40-caliber illegally modified fully automatic Glock pistol, according to police.

Moore is prohibited from possessing a firearm.
