OHIO TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters responded to a house fire early Thursday morning that required multiple fire companies to extinguish.
Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 3:30 a.m. Thursday to the reported structure fire.
Emsworth Volunteer Fire Company Engine 148 arrived as the second engine on scene with four personnel and laid 900 feet of supply line.
Crews located fire on the rear side of the first and second floors and extinguished it.
Engine 148 operated on scene for approximately four hours before being released.
Etna Fire Department transferred an engine to provide coverage for the district and surrounding municipalities while area companies operated at the fire scene.
Aleppo Volunteer Fire Company, Avalon Volunteer Fire Company and Ohio Township Volunteer Fire Company assisted in packing supply line.
