HOLBROOK, MA — Two people face firearm and drug trafficking charges following a disturbance at a restaurant Wednesday afternoon.
Holbrook police responded to 462 North Franklin St. at approximately 2:30 p.m. Feb. 25 after receiving a 911 call reporting two people fighting inside the restaurant.
Dispatch alerted responding officers that one of the suspects had left in a white Volkswagen with New York license plates, heading south on North Franklin Street.
Officers spotted the vehicle near North Franklin Street and Maple Avenue.
The vehicle briefly fled before pulling into a driveway on Linfield Street.
During a pat frisk of the driver and passenger, officers located a loaded Glock 21 .45-caliber handgun and placed both individuals into custody.
A subsequent search of the vehicle recovered approximately 12.35 ounces of narcotics.
The restaurant sustained more than $1,200 in damage during the disturbance.
Tayvon Harper, 32, of Randolph, was charged with trafficking in 10 grams or more of fentanyl, trafficking in 200 grams or more of cocaine, unlawful possession of a large-capacity firearm, unlawful possession of a large-capacity feeding device, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm without a license (subsequent offense), malicious damage of property over $1,200, failure to stop for police and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).
Harper also had two outstanding warrants.
Keisha Pierre, 29, of Brockton, was charged with trafficking in 10 grams or more of fentanyl, trafficking in 200 grams or more of cocaine, unlawful possession of a large-capacity firearm, unlawful possession of a large-capacity feeding device, unlawful possession of ammunition and carrying a loaded firearm without a license.
Both were scheduled for arraignment Thursday in Quincy District Court.
