EASTON, CT — A worker fell from a roof and suffered serious injuries Wednesday afternoon.
The Easton 911 Center received a call at 12:13 p.m. Feb. 26, 2026, reporting that a person had fallen from the roof of a house at 270 Everett Road.
Dispatchers provided emergency instructions over the phone and alerted Easton Volunteer EMS, Easton Police and Easton Fire to respond.
A paramedic from Trumbull was also automatically alerted to respond under a predetermined plan.
Upon arrival, an Easton police officer found a 24-year-old man lying on the back deck, unconscious with agonal respirations.
Easton EMS and Fire arrived soon after and provided additional care.
Responders extricated the patient from the property through a large volume of recent snowfall.
The man was transported to a local trauma center with serious injuries.
The Easton Police Department is conducting an investigation in conjunction with Connecticut OSHA.
