SPENCER, NY — A 26-year-old man was arrested following a motor vehicle crash on Feb. 12.
Rowan A. Wittsell, of Spencer, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content more than 0.08 percent, and other traffic offenses, according to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest resulted from an investigation of a crash in the Town of Spencer.
During the investigation, authorities determined that Wittsell operated his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol prior to the crash.
Wittsell was issued appearance tickets and is due back in court at a later date.
