NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A Hudson man has been arrested and charged with kidnapping following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of a missing juvenile.
Jason Hores, 23, of Hudson, was arrested and charged with kidnapping.
On Wednesday at approximately 1:30 a.m., Northborough police operating in the area of West Main Street observed a car with defective equipment and initiated a routine traffic stop.
While talking with the driver, identified as Hores, officers observed a 13-year-old juvenile from Northborough in the passenger seat.
A preliminary investigation determined that the two parties were known to each other but not related.
It was also determined that the juvenile had left their home of their own accord, without parental knowledge.
On Thursday, Northborough police executed an arrest warrant for Hores with assistance from Hudson police.
Hores is scheduled to be arraigned in Westborough District Court on Thursday.
The incident remains under investigation by Northborough police.
