SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a woman on an active warrant stemming from a November motor vehicle accident.
Carrie Jo Hitchcock, 52, of East Hartford, was taken into custody at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday.
The charge stems from a Nov. 30 motor vehicle accident in the area of 769 John Fitch Boulevard.
During the investigation, police believed Hitchcock was under the influence of alcohol.
An arrest warrant was sought following the incident.
Hitchcock was located in Enfield and turned over to South Windsor police.
She was processed and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.
Hitchcock is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 16, 2026, at 9 a.m.
