MENDON, VT — A Rutland man was arrested on a DUI charge following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
Anthony Gaines, 27, of Rutland, was taken into custody at approximately 12:09 a.m. on U.S. Route 4.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks were notified of the crash and responded to the scene.
While speaking with Gaines, troopers detected indicators of impairment.
Gaines was released with a citation to appear in Rutland County Superior Court, Criminal Division on March 16 at 10 a.m.
