COUDERSPORT, PA — A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing near the Chestnut Street bridge Monday afternoon.
Police were dispatched to the scene at 5:09 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle accident.
Officer Creech arrived to find one vehicle overturned on its roof.
The driver had failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, according to the Coudersport Borough Police Department.
Following an investigation, the driver was placed under arrest for DUI suspected alcohol.
The road has since reopened.
