3 arrested on drug charges in Auburn

AUBURN, NY — Three people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Fitch Avenue on Friday.

Members of the Auburn Police Department stopped a vehicle on Fitch Avenue and identified the occupants as Cal Rockwell, the driver, and passengers Danielle Vallette and Kenneth Shelton.

Officers located 58.5 grams of cocaine during the investigation, according to Sgt. J. Turner.

Officers also found a quantity of U.S. currency and suspected paraphernalia consistent with drug packaging.

Rockwell, Vallette and Shelton were transported to Auburn Police Department headquarters where they were processed.

All three were charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony.

They were transported to the Cayuga County Jail for centralized arraignment processing.
