MADISON, ME — The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug search warrant at a residence on Ingalls Street on Friday morning.
The warrant was executed at approximately 6:25 a.m. by Criminal Division detectives and patrol deputies.
The search warrant was obtained after a lengthy investigation into illegal drugs allegedly being sold from the residence, according to Sheriff Lancaster.
Lucas Gage, 36, of Madison, and Sabrina Madore, 33, of Madison, were present when the warrant was executed.
During the search, over 48 grams of suspected fentanyl was located and seized, along with illegal drug-related documentation, digital scales and illegal drug-related paraphernalia.
Gage was arrested on two outstanding arrest warrants out of Brunswick for unrelated criminal matters.
Bail on Gage’s arrest warrants is set at $500 each, for a total of $1,000.
Madore was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Somerset County for unrelated criminal matters.
Bail on Madore’s arrest warrant is set at $300.
Criminal charges will be forthcoming once the case is reviewed by the Somerset County District Attorney’s Office and once the suspected illegal drugs are further tested at the State Laboratory.
