ULSTER, NY — The Ulster Police Department responded to a 911 call for a subject that had jumped from the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge at 4:33 a.m. Feb. 20, 2026.
Upon arrival of patrols, the male victim was located in the Hudson River and recovered with the assistance of an air boat from the New York State Police.
He was transported to shore where he was pronounced deceased.
The Ulster Police Department was assisted by the New York State Bridge Authority, New York State Police, Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, Plattekill Police, East Kingston Fire, Ulster Hose Fire, Glasco Fire and Rhinebeck Fire.
