SCIPIO, NY — A 23-year-old man was arrested early Feb. 14 after allegedly crashing into a tow truck on State Route 34B.
Edgar Martinez-Perez, of Auburn, was charged with driving while ability impaired, colliding with a hazard vehicle, speed not reasonable and prudent, and having alcohol or cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway, according to Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck.
Deputies responded to the area of State Route 34B and Chase Road at approximately 11:48 p.m. Feb. 13 for a reported motor vehicle accident.
