Man arrested on felony charges in Sennett

SENNETT, NY — A Syracuse man faces multiple felony charges after allegedly contacting a protected party while incarcerated at the Cayuga County Jail.

Gregory R. Delee, 39, of Syracuse, was arrested Feb. 17 on an arrest warrant, according to Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck.

Delee is charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, intimidating a witness in the third degree, tampering with a witness in the fourth degree and conspiracy in the sixth degree.

The Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation in January into allegations that Delee contacted the protected party of a full stay-away order of protection while he was incarcerated at the jail.

An arrest warrant was obtained based on the investigation and evidence.

Delee was arraigned at CAP Court and is being held at the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
