WARRINGTON, PA — A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after an officer observed his vehicle swerving on icy roads early Saturday.
Thomas Ryales, of Ambler, Pennsylvania, was stopped at approximately 1:44 a.m. on Jan. 18 while driving southbound on Easton Road near County Line Road.
A Warrington officer observed the vehicle swerving and driving aggressively while roads were icy, according to police.
Ryales displayed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests, police said.
He was arrested and processed before being released.
Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were recovered during an inventory of the vehicle, according to police.
Ryales faces multiple charges including driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, prohibited acts related to controlled substances, and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
