Woman arrested on larceny charges in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police arrested a Massachusetts woman on two active arrest warrants early Tuesday.

Marissa A. Polechronis, 34, of Falmouth, Massachusetts, was taken into custody at 12 a.m. Tuesday on two counts of larceny in the sixth degree.

The charges stem from two separate theft investigations at Target, 125 Buckland Hills Drive, in late December and early January.

Police determined Polechronis stole $172.04 worth of merchandise in the first incident and $161.69 worth of merchandise in the second incident.

East Hartford police took Polechronis into custody and transferred her to South Windsor police, where she was processed.

She was released on a $2,000 non-surety bond.

Polechronis is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. March 4.
