RUTLAND TOWN, VT — A Goshen man was arrested on multiple charges after being found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle on Feb. 17, 2026.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to a motor vehicle complaint on North Grove Street at approximately 7:06 p.m.
Upon arrival, troopers found Edward Loso, 44, of Goshen, passed out behind the wheel.
Troopers identified several indicators of impairment.
Loso was placed under arrest for driving under the influence, during which time he resisted arrest.
He was transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks.
Loso was also found to be operating a motor vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
Loso was lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility for lack of bail.
He was issued a citation to appear in Rutland County Superior Court on Feb. 17, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., to answer to charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest.
