Man arrested on firearms charge in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, PA — Police arrested a man Saturday after a shot was fired into a residence on Evergreen Street.

Officers responded to the first block of Evergreen Street at about 11 a.m. Feb. 14 for a report of a shot fired into a residence.

Officers spoke to the victim and witnesses at the scene.

Police identified Ivan Santiago-Castro, 45, of Pennsylvania, as the person who fired the shot.

Officers later located Santiago-Castro in the area and took him into custody.

Santiago-Castro was charged with discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, two counts of simple assault and terroristic threats.
