SHELDON, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred on Route 105 near Route 236.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks were dispatched to the scene at approximately 1:08 p.m. on February 16th, 2026.
Upon arrival, troopers located a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu on its roof in a ditch on the north side of the roadway, facing east.
The operator was identified as Raymond Robitaille, 62, of Berkshire.
An adult family member was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Neither occupant reported injuries.
Both Robitaille and his passenger were wearing seatbelts, and the vehicle’s airbags deployed.
A mechanical issue was likely a contributing factor to the crash, according to preliminary investigation.
The Chevrolet sustained damage to its front, hood and roof.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the incident.
Larose’s Towing, Sheldon Fire Department and Amcare Ambulance assisted Vermont State Police at the scene.
