Man arrested on DUI charge in Bradford

BRADFORD, VT — A Corinth man was arrested on a DUI charge early Sunday morning following a traffic stop.

Norman Phinney, 38, of Corinth, was stopped by Vermont State Police troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks at approximately 1 a.m. on Vermont Route 25 at South Road.

Troopers were on routine patrol when they observed a motor vehicle violation.

During the traffic stop, troopers detected indicators of impairment while speaking with Phinney.

Phinney was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Bradford outpost for processing.

He was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division and released.
