ALBANY, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a report of a disturbance on Hartwell Pond Road on Feb. 13, 2026, at 9:07 p.m.
An investigation revealed that Daniel Fontaine, 62, of Albany, caused bodily injury to a household member and placed household members in fear, police said.
Fontaine was taken into custody and transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Orleans Superior Court on Feb. 17, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
Police have not released any more information at this time.
