PROVIDENCE, RI — State Police arrested an 18-year-old Massachusetts man on reckless driving charges following an attempted traffic stop.
Troopers arrested Diego Morillo Mosquea, of Fall River, Massachusetts, at 11:41 p.m. for Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – 1st Offense.
The arrest resulted from an attempted motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North.
Troopers subsequently located the vehicle on Branch Avenue in Providence.
Morillo Mosquea was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
He was released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
In a separate incident, Troopers arrested Ricardo Pacheco, 50, of East Providence, at 4:36 a.m. for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest resulted from Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 95 in Pawtucket.
Pacheco was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
He was released into the custody of a responsible adult with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
