WALTHAM, MA — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Prospect Street on the morning of Feb. 13, 2026.
The Waltham Police Department responded to the area of 200 Prospect Street at approximately 7:24 a.m. for a report of a traffic crash involving a vehicle that struck a pedestrian in the roadway.
Officers were assisted by the Waltham Fire Department and Armstrong Ambulance personnel.
Upon arrival, officers encountered the pedestrian and began rendering medical aid.
The operator and vehicle remained on scene.
The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with injuries sustained from the accident and is in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation by the Waltham Police Department Crash Reconstruction Team.
