DUXBURY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a Waterbury man on multiple charges including stalking and burglary following two separate incidents.
Michael E. McNamara, 42, turned himself in to the Berlin Barracks at approximately 8 a.m. on Feb. 11, 2026.
Police said the most recent incident occurred at approximately 5:09 a.m. on Feb. 11 on Hummingbird Hill in Duxbury.
Troopers responded to a report of stalking and determined McNamara stalked and unlawfully restrained Leighann Ravelin, 44, of Waterbury, with his vehicle, acted disorderly and violated an active condition of release, according to police.
A previous investigation revealed McNamara stalked Ravelin, trespassed onto her property, burglarized her residence and stole her property at approximately 11:03 p.m. on Feb. 3 on U.S. Route 2 in Moretown, police said.
McNamara was charged with two counts of stalking, second-degree unlawful restraint, two counts of unlawful trespass, burglary, petit larceny, disorderly conduct and violation of conditions of release.
He was processed at the Berlin Barracks and issued a criminal citation.
McNamara was transported to Vermont Superior Court, Washington County, Criminal Division, where he was scheduled to appear at 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 11.
