SCARBOROUGH, ME — A Westbrook man faces multiple drug charges following a search warrant execution in the Pine Point Beach neighborhood.
Omaid Shir, 36, of Westbrook, was arrested and charged with aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs, aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and criminal forfeiture of property.
Mohamed Abdullahi, 35, of South Portland, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
The Scarborough Police Department Special Enforcement Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, and Patrol Division conducted the search warrant at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2026.
Officers also searched a vehicle during a traffic stop on Pine Point Road.
The search warrant was executed after police corroborated intelligence from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency regarding drug trafficking at the location.
Police seized 395 grams of cocaine, 2.6 pounds of marijuana, $1,743 in U.S. currency, and oxycodone pills.
