Woman charged following road rage incident in Upper Allen

UPPER ALLEN, PA — A woman faces multiple charges after police say she struck a motorcycle carrying two people during a road rage incident.

Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of South Market Street on Saturday, Oct. 11, for a crash involving a motorcycle.

The motorcycle operator was identified as an adult male with an 8-year-old female passenger riding on the back.

The investigation revealed that a Honda Accord struck the rear of the motorcycle during a road rage incident.

The driver of the Accord was identified as Amya Steele, 23, of Baltimore, Maryland.

Police say Steele’s vehicle became disabled shortly after fleeing the crash scene.

Steele was charged via summons with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and reckless driving.

A preliminary hearing was held on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, where the charges were bound over to county court.
