CHARLESTOWN, MA — Two men were arrested Wednesday on human trafficking charges following an undercover operation in the Chelsea Street area.
Alexander Eugenio Villar, 33, of Danvers, and Randy Rosa, 37, of Lynn, were taken into custody Feb. 11 after detectives from the Boston Police Human Trafficking Unit and Massachusetts State Police Special Services Section High Risk Victims Squad conducted an investigation into commercial sexual exploitation.
Both men were charged with trafficking a person for sexual servitude and deriving support from prostitution.
Officers from District 15 assisted with the arrests.
Villar and Rosa are scheduled to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court, Charlestown Division.
The Human Trafficking Unit continues to investigate the incident.
