WATERBURY, VT — A 48-year-old man was arrested after allegedly violating a relief from abuse order twice and unlawfully entering an occupied dwelling.
Vermont State Police in Berlin received a report of a relief from abuse order violation at 8:33 p.m. Feb. 9, 2026, on Maple Street.
An investigation revealed that Robert Farnsworth, of Waterbury, committed two violations of an abuse prevention order and unlawful trespass into an occupied dwelling, police said.
Troopers located and arrested Farnsworth at 7 p.m. Feb. 10, 2026, and brought him to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Washington Criminal Division, on Feb. 12, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
