GOUVERNEUR, NY — New York State Police have charged a man with strangulation and child endangerment following a domestic dispute at a local motel.

Tyler D. Peck, 25, of Winthrop, was charged with strangulation in the second degree and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Troopers responded to the Clearview Motel on U.S. Highway 11 in the town of Gouverneur at approximately 7:22 a.m. Thursday for a reported domestic dispute.

He was arraigned in the Town of Gouverneur Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
