WARMINSTER, PA — Police are investigating a retail theft attempt at a store on East Street Road.
Officers responded to the 100 block of East Street Road on Feb. 9, 2026, for a report of a retail theft in progress.
The suspect had left on foot toward a bus stop before police arrived, according to Bucks County Rapid Response.
Store employees told police an unidentified man selected several clothing items, meat products and a television.
The man placed the items, including the television, inside black trash bags, according to the complaint.
An employee approached the suspect as he passed all points of sale without offering to pay for the items.
The suspect stated, “I didn’t steal anything,” and left the scene on foot without the items.
The total value of the concealed items was $1,024.54.
Police described the suspect as a Black man in his 50s or 60s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a tan winter coat, white hat and grey beard.
