Man arrested after threats to shoot up pub in Milford

MILFORD, MA — A 21-year-old Idaho man was arrested after allegedly threatening to “shoot up” a local pub Thursday night.

The Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a call at approximately 9:41 p.m. Feb. 5 from a male reporting an altercation at TD’s Pub, located at 68 Water Street.

The caller said he was involved in a dispute with an employee and threatened to “shoot up” the establishment, police said.

Officers arrived and searched for a white male wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and a black cowboy hat.

Police spotted a suspect matching the description fleeing on foot toward Main Street.

After a brief pursuit and search of the area, officers found the suspect hiding behind a vehicle on Thayer Street.

Matthew Skelikh, of Blackfoot, Idaho, was arrested at approximately 9:56 p.m.

He was charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, threat to commit crime, resist arrest, bomb/hijack threat and false report to a public safety dispatch.
