WILTON, NY — A Gansevoort man was arrested Wednesday evening following a domestic incident on Cooper Drive.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call at 6:37 p.m.
Willis L. Freeman III, 39, of Gansevoort, was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal mischief in the third degree and harassment in the second degree.
Freeman is accused of violating an order of protection by subjecting the protected person to unlawful physical contact.
He is also charged with damaging the lock to a sliding glass door in an amount that exceeded $250.
The criminal contempt and criminal mischief charges are class E felonies, while the harassment charge is a violation.
Freeman was arraigned before the Honorable Chad Jerome in Wilton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
