SUNDERLAND, VT — A New York woman crashed her vehicle on U.S. Route 7 on the morning of Feb. 7, 2026, according to Vermont State Police.
Troopers from the Shaftsbury Barracks were dispatched at approximately 11:04 a.m. to the area of mile marker 25 on U.S. Route 7 for a reported single-vehicle crash.
The vehicle, a 2018 Subaru Forester, had left the roadway and sustained significant front-end damage.
The operator was identified as Clea Beriau, 38, of Hoosick Falls, New York.
Beriau was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and the airbags were not deployed.
No injuries were reported.
Road conditions were wet and snowy at the time of the crash, and snow was falling.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by All Service Towing and the Arlington Fire Department.
