SENNETT, NY — A 33-year-old man faces criminal contempt and aggravated family offense charges after allegedly contacting a protected party while incarcerated.
Andrew M. Wilson, of Auburn, was arrested Jan. 30 by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Brian Schenck said deputies opened an investigation in December 2025 into allegations that Wilson contacted the protected party of a full stay-away order of protection while he was incarcerated at Cayuga County Jail.
Wilson was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, a misdemeanor, and aggravated family offense, a felony.
He was arraigned at CAP Court and is being held at the Cayuga County Jail.
